CLIENT: Daubney Services
Project Duration: Under a week
The Problem:
There was a persistent water ingress problem along the front façade of the hotel, resulting in rainwater flowing into an underground gymnasium and causing damage to fixtures and fittings.
Several unsuccessful attempts had been made to rectify the problem, which had existed for several years, including taking up the paving and relaying waterproof membranes on the surrounding concrete slabs.
The Solution:
H2Ox Engineers recommended a Polyurethane Resin Injection to rectify the problem. First water was poured over the paving to activate the leaks in the gymnasium. The engineers were then able to target the leaking joints between the structural steel members and the concrete soffit.
All the leaks were successfully sealed in less than a week.
